Is Hyzaar and losartan the same?
Hyzaar (losartan / hydrochlorothiazide) is a combination of losartan and hydrochlorothiazide, which work differently to lower your blood pressure. Although the names are similar, Hyzaar (losartan / hydrochlorothiazide) is not the same thing as Cozaar, which is losartan on its own (without hydrochlorothiazide).
